Please make sure that you have accepted the calendar invitation so that the Session Organizer does not need to check up whether you accepted
Please ensure that you show up on time; the reason is that most of the participant sessions are relatively short; hence any lateness represents a significant time loss
Please make sure that you have tested your camera and microphone before the session
Please make sure that you have access to the codebase that you work on, as our session may involve screenshare
Please ensure you have informed the Meeting Organizer about Vacations or Planned Absences at least 7 days before the session.
Vacations or Planned Absences include: vacations, PTO, team building events, conferences or meetups, business travel, or any other reason which causes you to be absent for day(s) or parts of days
Mark as out-of-office in your calendar with the message "Vacation" (or a similar reason)
For the Meeting Organizer:
If only some of the Meeting Attendees have Vacations or Planned Absences at the same time, then the session should be held (no rescheduling)
If all the Meeting Attendees have Vacations or Planned Absences at the same time, then the Meeting Organizer can reschedule the session at least 7 days before the session. Otherwise, if this is not done, then the session will be canceled/expired without the possibility of rescheduling.
Please ensure you have informed the Meeting Organized about Sick Leave before the session:
When you inform your company of your Sick Leave, you can set that day(s) as out-of-office in your calendar with the message "Sick Leave"
If you do not have access to the computer or have a more severe illness, then you can inform the Meeting Organizer upon your return
For the Meeting Organizer:
If only some of the Meeting Attendees are on Sick Leave, then the session should be held (no rescheduling)
If all the Meeting Attendees are on Sick Leave (e.g., epidemic or flu affecting the whole office), then the Meeting Organizer can reschedule the session as soon as they are aware of this
Please ensure you have informed the Meeting Organized about Emergencies before the session starts:
Emergencies are unplanned, unexpected events, for example, production blockers, "urgent" meetings at your company
To inform your Meeting Organizer, you can click to "Decline" the meeting and write the reason "Emergency" (and may include a short explanation)
For the Meeting Organizer:
If only some of the Meeting Attendees cannot attend due to Emergenices, then the session should be held (no rescheduling)
If all the Meeting Attendees cannot attend due to an Emergency, then the Meeting Organizer can reschedule the session. This can be done a maximum of 3 times during a 3-month coaching/consulting program.
Please ensure that your calendar notifications are on (so that you don't miss out on the sessions).
Some reasons for non-attendance include: "My calendar isn't working", "I forget about this meeting", "I didn't get a notification from my calendar", "My previous meeting was urgent so I couldn't come to this one", "My previous meeting ran over time", "Someone arrived to my home/office", "I had to take an urgent phone call", "I had unexpected travel", or some other reasons
For the Meeting Organizer:
If some of the Meeting Attendees do not attend, then the session is still held (no rescheduling)
If all the Meeting Attendees do not attend, then the Meeting Organizer will cancel the session with the reason "Non-attendance". This session cannot be rescheduled.
Please ensure that your calendar notifications are on, and that you wrap up any previous meetings you had. Common reasons for lateness include: "My previous meeting ran over time".
For the Meeting Organizer:
We start the meeting on time, with whichever attendees are present; others can join when they come. There are no extensions to the meeting in case of lateness.
If all the Meeting Attendees are late by 10 mins or more (without informing the Meeting Organizer), then the Meeting Organizer will cancel the session with the reason "Lateness". This session cannot be rescheduled.
The process is the same as for Technical Coaching, expect there is just one primary Meeting Attendee: the Manager.
